Abroad Bible is the study-abroad guide students actually pass down — a way to map where you've been, share the places worth going, and find real, road-tested advice for your semester abroad, from the students who went before you.
Every study-abroad cohort builds the same thing: a scrappy, crowdsourced doc of the cafe with the good wifi, the neighborhood worth living in, the day trip that's actually worth the train ticket, the bar that doesn't card too hard. It gets passed from the students flying home to the ones just landing — and it's gold. Abroad Bible exists to turn that word-of-mouth into something you can actually browse.
The idea is simple: make a semester abroad legible.
One person, who's been exactly where you are. If you've done a semester abroad, you know the ritual: posting in the Facebook group — "anyone been to Interlaken? recommendations??" — forwarding a friend-of-a-friend's Google Doc with the good restaurants, screenshotting a packing list from someone's story, digging through a group chat for that hostel somebody mentioned in October. The advice was always out there; it was just scattered across docs, threads, emails, and other people's memories — and it evaporated the moment those people flew home. Abroad Bible is an attempt to bring all of it under one roof: organized, current, and searchable instead of forwarded and forgotten.
